A single pretender to take over the Recreativo

A business group led by Vicente Simón is emerging as the new owner of Recreativo de Huelva when presenting the only offer for sale convened by the City Council of the Huelva capital. The proposal arrived at the last moment of the term.

The Consistory published the list of conditions on June 5 and the company Moody Investments SA is the only one that has attended, as confirmed by municipal sources. The next step will be the call of the hiring desk to analyze the project, broken down into an envelope with administrative documentation and in another with the economic proposal.

The one that is presumed like new owner of the Dean must contribute an initial amount of 10,4 million Euros to settle the debt that allows to initiate a new calendar of payments with the public treasury and to update the players and rest of employees. The final objective is to face a global debit of almost 23 million euros.

With this objective and before the danger of disappearance detected, the City of Huelva expropriated a year ago to Pablo Comas the actions that made him the owner of the Dean. The basis for this operation was the recent Declaration of Cultural Good by the club.

This figure motivates the Consistory to keep 8% of the shares. The group of Vicente Simón, Moody Investments SA, aims to buy the 90. The remaining 2%, approximately, belongs to small shareholders.
